'Barefoot in the Park' centres around a conservative young lawyer and his off-the-wall bride, who dedicates her life to the pursuit of fun. As the ecstasy of the honeymoon gives way to the reality of setting up home in the most ludicrous of New York apartments, the marital dream dissolves into comical discord.
To help our young lovers dissolve accordingly, at least for our amusement, the story includes one nervous mother-in-law, (his), a middle-aged Casanova who lives upstairs, a reluctant telephone repair man and a heavy-breathing delivery man.
