MAY 2012 SHOW

 Mrating gtaphic     "The ELEPHANT MAN"

by Bernard Pomerance

directed by Iain Fraser

This is a powerful and poignant story based on the life of John Merrick.

Deformed from an early age by a crippling disease, Merrick is condemned to a life as a "freak" until a doctor tries to give him the best life that he can offer.
This is an insightful look at the man within and the dilemma of those trying to help him.

Bookings are now open

ONLINE BOOKINGS

Our online booking function has proved very successful for our production of Pygmalion in November 2011 with a large number of our patrons taking advantage of booking tickets to our show from the comfort and convenience of their home or office PC.

They have also benefitted from the ticket "Print at Home" facility which removes the tedium of queueing at the box office to collect pre-paid tickets.

Why not take advantage of this convenience when you book your next tickets for one of our shows?

The online booking office will open at the same time as our telephone booking service early in 2012 for "The Elephant Man" and is then available 24 hours a day until three hours before the actual performance for which you wish to book.

Access to this facility is through our
"Bookings"   page.

FORTHCOMING SHOWS

"CARPE JUGULUM"

by Terry Pratchett

adapted from his book for the stage by Stephen Briggs

directed by Robyn Pope

is to be performed in November 2012.

Advance Bookings for this show are now open
See our Bookings Page.

Another of Terry Pratchett's renowned "Discworld" stories, the three Lancre witches from Wyrd Sisters are off vampire-hunting.

Almost.

One of the three has relinquished her position in the coven to take on a far less significant career as Queen of Lancre and has been replaced by another young lady who is beside herself with excitement and is constantly in conflict with the self beside her who has a quite different personality.

... and the vampires are not so much being hunted as turning up at the King's invitation to the naming of his first-born.

Come and see what transpires (vampires?).
